I've always said that our schools have turned into ideology centers, where the radical left-wing teachers have a curriculum that is steeped in "one-world" politics. Of course this is combined with the "green at all cost" mantra. Add to this a heap of "tolerance and understanding of gays" and the ability to put a condom on a cucumber, and you'll understand what to expect from the next generation. What's not being taught? American exceptionalism, American History, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and how to read. The above subjects represent a threat to the left.

Did you know that in many cities, half the high school graduates can't read? Of course you'll find this especially true in urban cities, where a lot of parents don't care, and teachers are pushing the agenda. The "agenda" doesn't have a need for bright students... in fact any bright students might question the agenda. As you may have guessed by now, that agenda is comprised of the same hack left-wing theories proposed by the people that keep these teachers all-powerful... those wonderful left-wing guilt-ridden liberal Democrats who are way out of touch with reality. And they're not just turning out morons, they're creating unknowing participants in the continuation of the destruction of America as we know it. While we have a populace watching American Idol, The Bachelorette and Survivor, playing Wii and Playstation, and obsessing about sports, this Administration is quietly and quickly facilitating the biggest power grab this country has ever seen. We are moving into a "humane" totalitarian government, with the President as the benign all-knowing dictator. Yes, the man who knows everything, runs banks, car companies, insurance companies, tells you what you should drive, eat, and where your thermostat should be set, has never accomplished anything (and written two books about it). He's never run a business, been an executive in any capacity, and never authored a piece of meaningful legislation. soon he and his cohorts will be telling you which medical procedures you will get, and which you won't be entitled to.

All because the population has been dumbed down to a point where it will roll over and accept this loss of freedom. And where does it all start? Well it couldn't get a foothold without the complicity of the teachers unions.
They don't have to report to parents, or have any standards. All they have to do is keep filling Democrat Party coffers, and in return, have complete control of their curriculum... the curriculum that promotes the quiet takeover.. It's an unholy alliance that works very well.

Miguel Estrada should have been first Hispanic Supreme Court Justice

"Fair Minded" liberals made sure his nomination never came to a vote. They filibustered to prevent a vote. Using that same sliding scale of morality that enables them to change the rules as they see fit, they say they would be outraged if any filibuster took place to prevent a vote on Sotomayor. Two sets of rules, as usual. In fact, to show you how devious and ruthless the left is, internal memos to Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin mention liberal interest groups' desire to keep Estrada off the court because his Latino heritage made him "especially dangerous" as a potential future Supreme Court nominee. While Republicans were extremely polite with Sotomayor, Judge Alito was subjected to liberal vitriol and hatred... the same tactics they say they abhor. At Senate hearings several Senators called Alito a racist. Alito's wife left the room crying during the process. But I'm getting off point.

Let's talk about Estrada's legal background, which makes Sotomayor appear to be unqualified to even clerk for him. Remember how she admitted affirmative action played an important role in her achievements? How she wasn't a very good student? How the tests were skewed to give advantage to whites? That's the same old argument used when people can't answer questions correctly.

Well sorry Sonia, Estrada got all the answers right. He graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a bachelor's degree from Columbia in 1983. He received a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree magna cum laude in 1986 from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review. Those sorry excuses about skewed tests didn't keep this Hispanic from being at the top of his class at both Columbia and Harvard.

Now we've been hearing about Sotomayor's "personal and compelling story" ad nauseum. by Democratic Senators, who have then been parroted by the state-run media. How about a story that should have been more compelling?

Estrada was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. After his parents divorced, he immigrated to the United States to join his mother when he was 17. Unlike Sotomayor, he arrived here unable to speak English, and overcame huge odds to rise to academic stature that Sotomayor couldn't have achieved even if she had been given the answers to all those "racially skewed" tests she struggled with.

So why wasn't this more compelling story fawned over by the media? Why wasn't this man given the up or down vote his credentials entitled him to? You know the answer... it's all about left-wing politics. It's all about putting an Obama activist clone on the court to help him change that mean-spirited constitution... that pesky document that keeps him from really "transforming" this country.

So next time you hear these ideologues on the left brimming with pride over "the first Latino candidate for the Supreme Court". and how well qualified she is, think of the despicable motives that kept a truly great jurist and Latino off the court. And no matter how sincere Sotomayor's mia culpa appears, you will be getting an activist judge who will be trying to create sweeping legislation from the bench. By the time this woman gets into gear, Ginsberg is going to look like a conservative.

Franken-stein Goes To Washington

Okay, the Minnesota Supreme Court has said it's over and Franken is the winner. This bitter foul-mouthed leftist weasel is now going to Washington, where he said he wants to work on health care reform. He may be the comedian, but the joke's on us, the American sheeple.

Although the election in Minnesota was very similar to the one in Iran, Ahmadinejad would have done even better, if he had had the "Acorn precision vote counting tools". There would have been no street rioting. You see, In Minnesota it was done with finesse and restraint. A gradual tyranny. Each recount resulting in less votes for Coleman... each district using a different set of standards... applying the ones as needed to detract from Coleman's total. Key favorable decisions for Franken, by the State's leftists? Yes, this was way slicker than that heavy-handed Iran situation. I can't wait to see how these same Acorn people, armed with billions of our tax dollars, handle the census. That ought to be fair and balanced!

I must say however, it is lucky for Ahmadinejad that he doesn't have Franken's talents. If he did, the bad jokes, and the superior porno writing skills would surely have gotten him stoned to death!

Oh, and don't feel bad about the Senate being deprived of Pornographer/Senator Franken for the past eight months. The bills the Senate passed were obscene enough without him!

The Audacity of the Prius

Before I start my generalization, I know there are some Prius owners who will not fit the following profile. I just haven't found them yet.

Unlike American cars, many of which come with a factory equipped Obama bumper sticker, stuck on by a United Awful Worker, Prius owners have made a conscious choice to support Obama, just like they've made a choice about their car. These are people who feel they are superior to the rest of us.

In their warped minds, they are "concerned" and have taken action to help with global warming and other such green issues (non-existent to the rest of us who have done the homework).
They have a sense of smugness as they glance over when stopped at a light, thinking, "I'm better than you... I care."

I feel like rolling down my window to tell them that they've been hoodwinked into feeling superior. The truth is, the battery in the Prius is almost the equivalent of nuclear waste. It creates huge problems, because it can't be disposed of. Of course they wouldn't know that, because they read the New York Times.

Did you know that the Prius outdoes Hummer in environmental damage? Of course not!
Yes, the Toyota Prius, the flagship car for the environmentally conscious, is the source of some of the worst pollution in North America, and takes more combined energy to produce than a Hummer.

Consider:

* The nickel contained in the Prius' battery is mined and smelted at a plant in Ontario that has caused so much environmental damage to the surrounding environment that NASA has used the 'dead zone' around the plant to test moon rovers.

* Dubbed the Superstack, the factory has spread sulfur dioxide across northern Ontario, becoming every environmentalist's nightmare.

* Acid rain around the area was so bad it destroyed all the plants and the soil slid down off the hillside, according to Canadian Greenpeace energy-coordinator David Martin. After leaving the plant, the nickel travels to Europe, China, Japan and the United States, a hardly environmentally sound round the world trip for a single battery.

But that isn't even the worst part. According to a study by CNW Marketing, the total combined energy to produce a Prius (consisting of electrical, fuel, transportation, materials and hundreds of other factors over the expected lifetime), is greater than what it takes to produce a Hummer:

1. The Prius costs an average of $3.25 per mile driven over a lifetime of 100,000 miles -- the expected lifespan of the Hybrid.

2. The Hummer, on the other hand, costs a more fiscal $1.95 per mile to put on the road over an expected lifetime of 300,000 miles.

3. That means the Hummer will last three times longer than a Prius and use almost 50 percent less combined energy doing it.

So the next time you pull up next to one of these people (probably a Government Worker or a member of the Teacher's Union), don't roll down your window... you'll never convince them of anything... they've been brainwashed. Just give them a thumbs up, and make their day. Remember these are the people who are all about feeling good about themselves. That's what really drives their decision-making process!
